Barbara Mandrell discography

The discography of Barbara Mandrell, an American country artist, consists of twenty five studio albums, one live album, seven compilation albums, sixty eight singles, and one B-side. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee after high school and signed a recording contract with Columbia Records in 1969.
Mandrell's debut album ''Treat Him Right'' was released in September 1971, which composed of Country Soul songs. It included her 1969 debut single, a cover of Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)" and three singles that reached the Top 20 on the ''Billboard'' country singles chart: "Playin' Around with Love", "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man", and the title track. In 1971 she partnered with country artist, David Houston for the single, "After Closing Time" and eventually issued the album, ''A Perfect Match'' (1972). Her 1973 single, "The Midnight Oil" peaked at #7 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart. The success of the single brought Columbia to issue an album of the same name that year. After releasing ''This Time I Almost Made It'' (1974), Columbia dropped Mandrell due to her limited success.〔
Mandrell's 1975 single, "Standing Room Only" was released on Dot Records and reached #5 on the ''Billboard'' chart. The following year, she released the studio albums ''This Is Barbara Mandrell'' and ''Midnight Angel'', which were composed of a more commercial country pop sound. From her 1977 album, ''Love's Ups and Downs'', she had two Top 5 country hits and the over the next three years, she had three number one singles on that chart: "Sleeping Single in a Double Bed", "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right", and "Years". After releasing 1980's ''Love Is Fair'', Mandrell recorded her first live album, ''Barbara Mandrell Live'' (1981). It spawned the number one single, "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool" and the #2 hit, "Wish You Were Here" (which peaked on December 31, 1981). Her twelfth studio album, ''In Black and White'' was released in 1982 and spawned the number one single, "Till You're Gone". Her thirteenth studio album, ''Spun Gold'' spawned her sixth and final number one, "One of a Kind Pair of Fools". Mandrell released four more studio albums under MCA, including ''Meant for Each Other'' with country artist, Lee Greenwood. The album released two major hit singles.
In 1987 she recorded ''Sure Feels Good'' for EMI America Records, which only produced the hit single "Child Support". She signed with Capitol Records one year later and released ''I'll Be Your Jukebox Tonight''. Although the album spawned the #5 hit "I Wish That I Could Fall in Love Today", it only peaked at #35 on the ''Billboard'' Top Country Albums chart. In 1990 Mandrell released ''Morning Sun'' and ''No Nonsense'' under Capitol, both of which did not produce any charting singles. ''Key's in the Mailbox'' (1991) followed similar suit and peaked at #62 on the Country albums chart. Six years later, Mandrell issued her latest studio album to date entitled ''It Works for Me'' under Razor & Tie. Barbara Mandrell has had two gold selling albums (500,000 copies) according to the Recording Industry Association of America.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=RIAA Gold & Platinum - Barbara Mandrell )
